Royal Air Force (RAF) ground staff load a torpedo into a Bristol Beaufort naval strike aircraft on Malta in 1942. This image was drawn in 2013 to be included in a planned history of the siege of Malta during the Second World War.

These images are the pick of the litter from a set of ten images commissioned for a book on nature. They also constitute my first work with watercolors, emboldening further forays in the medium.
